atlanta home tour: living room

happy friday and happy september! this year is really flying by like no other year has ever flown by, for me at least. it's like time is fast forwarding while I'm trying to hit the pause button. another friday means another home tour post today, I love these days! today I'm sharing our living room which is easily one of my favorite spots.

we built the living room around our couch which is a large sectional, perfect for football weekends. our next important find was the rug, this was a long and arduous hunt. we ended up finding the perfect rug at one of those random persian rug stores that usually has a sale sign up to drive traffic. it took weeks of searching and artful negotiation, so worth it!

there's so much natural light from the windows, it's difficult to get the right shot of the curtains but I tried!

have a wonderful weekend! hopefully you can spend some time lounging wherever you feel most comfortable. for me, that's our living room.

sectional, macy's
oushak rug, similar
tray, homegoods / similar
curtains, custom
wooden roman shade, levelor from home depot
mercury glass candle holders, pier 1 (on sale!)
sphere stems, z gallerie
console table, pottery barn
magnolia oil paintings, michel mcninch

  1. I love the tray on your couch! I've always wanted to do something like that but am so worried it will get knocked over somehow.

    1. this tray is so heavy, I can barely move it! it also has a fabric bottom so it doesn't slide on the couch :) yay, homegoods!
