now that summer has unofficially kicked off, I'm excited to share another part of the beach house with you! if you haven't checked out my beach house tour yet, you can start here. unfortunately, I can't take credit for this gorgeous architecture, but it does run in the family! I've shared the kitchen and bar, bathrooms, and living room - and today I'm sharing some amazing outdoor spaces. confession: I've had these photos for quite some time now, but I didn't feel right about sharing them in the winter. I figured it could make the S.A.D. symptoms go into overdrive. so now that the weather is hopefully nice wherever you are, it's time to share!
one of the coolest places in the house is the very top of the viewing tower. it's amazing to watch the sun go down on the ocean and the beautiful architecture. you just have to be careful on the spiral steps after a few cocktails!
another fun place to hang out is of course, the pool. somedays, the beach is just kind of a hassle. perhaps there's marine life like jelly fish present or too many yellow flies. and sometimes, you just don't want to deal with sand in all your crevices. call it a pool day!
I love watching college football on the tv outside when the fall weather is still warm but chilly enough to turn on a fire. if you look closely, you can see little fire balls in the fireplace. the fire actually comes from these balls! I don't know how it happens, but it is very cool. the fireplace is made of shells, which gives it just the perfect coastal touch.
....so that's just enough of a tour to make me long for another beach trip! happy summer to everyone, I hope you have lots of vacation planned or at least plan to check a few fun things off your summer bucket list. cheers!
