we made a quick trip down to florida this weekend for the wedding of stephen's aunt. it was a full on family affair and a great weekend. the weather could not have been better for the intimate ceremony and reception at 331 south. the food and wedding cake were delicious, we had such a nice time celebrating the marriage of brad and denise with family and friends.

friday night! striking a pose before we headed out to the rehearsal dinner at la cocina in seacrest beach. we noshed on strong margaritas and generous portions of queso, guacamole, and fajitas.

331 south is well set up with natural photo opportunities like this gorgeous wall of honeysuckles, the dock, and a fully lighted willow tree. I'm sure their wedding pictures will be stunning.
their southern themed dinner food was delicious! especially these grits a ya ya - phenomenal [good enough to try at home, if I ever get around to it]... like I could've eaten 10 servings. there were also pulled pork tostadas on corn meal rounds, ginger chicken, creole chicken, bacon wrapped asparagus, and dirty rice.
as the sun set over the bay, the evening just got even more beautiful. we continued to dance the night away and stephen lit up a cuban cigar that I brought him back from my trip. I even tried it myself!
all in all, we were sad to head back to atlanta but thankful for a relaxing wedding weekend with family that we don't get to see enough, and of course, happy to celebrate the marriage of brad and denise!
