sedona, arizona

my family decided to visit sedona to see our grandparents and celebrate my dad's birthday. we hadn't been to sedona since we were kids and it was beautiful to appreciate as an adult. highlights included pizza at pisa lisa, montezuma's castle and well, tlaquepaque (enjoy a prickly pear margarita at el rincon), and the V Bar V petroglyphs. we also hiked cathedral rock, which was gorgeous and also quite a challenge, I didn't make it to the top! on our way out, we stopped in my dad's college town for our favorite burger joint the chuckbox. all in all, it was a wonderfully relaxing trip. if you haven't been to sedona, you should add it to your list!
